It was the first occupancy after remodeling, and I was looking for a clean two-room unit with a reasonable price, spacious rooms, and a good location. I remember seeing the listing on Peterpan and going to view it almost immediately. At the time, two women had already seen the house and were discussing a preliminary contract, but my real estate agent timed it well, allowing me to secure the contract first. Before living in this neighborhood, I had never been to Namseong Station (Line 7) and didn't know much about it, but after moving in, I found it to be a great place to live. It's an old neighborhood, so it's not particularly modern, but many long-term residents make it peaceful, safe, and full of life. The nearby Namseong Station Alley Market is great for grocery shopping, and there's also a Homeplus Express near Namseong Station, making it very convenient. To reach my house, you walk straight in from the main road, and about halfway through, the slope begins. My house is located midway up the hill. The incline is noticeable but manageable for a woman in her 30s. Elderly residents also navigate it well, and further up the hill is Sadang 5-dong Catholic Church. On weekends, many churchgoers, including elderly individuals, walk up without issue. (Personally, having a church nearby provided a sense of comfort, and I visited a few times.) Also, Sadang Cultural Center is on the way home from Namseong Station, and it's a great place for affordable exercise! If you like swimming, it's excellent, and they also offer Pilates. It takes me about 5 minutes to walk from Exit 2 of Namseong Station, though Naver Maps estimates 7 minutes. The walk to the station is downhill, so it takes even less time. There are many buses and village buses nearby, making it easy to reach Sadang Station and Isu Station. The subway is also convenient—Line 7 connects to Isu Station in one stop, where you can transfer to Line 4, and Express Bus Terminal is just three stops away, making transportation and location excellent. I commuted to Yangjae Station and Gangnam Station from here and frequently traveled to Yongsan for work. Transferring at Isu Station to Line 4 gets you to Sinyongsan quickly. After buying a car last year, I realized how convenient this area is for driving anywhere in Seoul. (+ The road has heated pavement, so no worries about snow.) The landlord lives in another region, so I only met the couple once when signing the contract. The rent was a good deal even four years ago, and when I renewed my Jeonse lease, the terms remained the same. Now, due to personal circumstances, I need to move out before my contract ends (early June). I contacted the landlord to ask if there would be any changes to the deposit or other conditions, but they said they would list it as is, without any changes. (I truly believe this is a rare and great deal.) When I moved in, I took out an 80% mid-term youth loan, borrowing up to 100 million KRW. I extended the loan when renewing my Jeonse lease in 2023. Since this house qualifies for the mid-term youth loan, other loans should also be available without issue. If you already have a mid-term youth loan, you might be able to transfer it to this property. ↓ Excerpt from the 'Guarantee Condition Change Application' submitted for loan extension The exterior is an old red brick house, and the surrounding area consists of residential houses and some villas. If you're looking for a bustling area or an officetel-like environment, this may not be the right fit. However, it has the warmth of an old neighborhood, where you can exchange friendly greetings with familiar neighbors. I've lived alone since my 20s, but this is the first place I've stayed for nearly four years, and I've grown quite attached to it. I hope the next tenant will be someone nice, which is why this post ended up being so long. If you're interested, please send a **text message** (no calls). Priority will be given to those who can move in around early to mid-February, as I need to finalize my new home contract and moving schedule. These are the photos from when I moved in. (Taken with a regular camera, no wide-angle lens used.) Each room has windows, and since it was the first occupancy after remodeling, it was very clean. After nearly four years of living here, there are some signs of use on the wallpaper and flooring. I'm not sure if the landlord will replace them. Since the deposit remains the same as four years ago, if necessary, you could personally redo the wallpaper or flooring. Even so, a two-room Jeonse for 180 million KRW is an incredibly attractive price. (You can check with the landlord or the real estate agency handling the contract near Namseong Station.) **Kitchen** View from the entrance. The layout is a long, straight shape. **Main Room** (Larger than it appears) I currently have a queen-size bed, two desks, storage units, and various other items, all fitting comfortably. There is also space to the left in the photo. **Bathroom** Has a window for good ventilation. The washing machine is placed directly below the window, as it's the only suitable spot due to the water supply location. **Small Room** Also has a large window. Currently used as a dressing room.
